We make and enjoy several class books in my early childhood special education program. Each book takes time and effort, and we make the most of this effort.
One way to do this is by sending the book pages home in a meaningful way at the end of the school year. We do this by binding the individual book pages into the memory books that we give the students at the end of the school year.
Time-related pages go in front of the month when they occurred.
Book pages that don’t necessarily have a time-related theme can go anywhere in the memory book.
With these class book pages added into the students’ memory books, the benefits of these books can extend into the students’ homes!
