Mat Man is a figure made up of lines and curves from the Learning Without Tears curriculum. We talk about him a lot in my early childhood special education classroom, especially when we talk about making letters. We also love making Mat Man as a snack! Here’s how to make a fun Mat Man Snack with a (free) template.
While some preschool students can look at a picture of Mat Man and create him from an assortment of provided foods, many have trouble with this task. Because of this, we use this template. 
Using this template enables students to match different ingredients to their shape, allowing them to make the figure much more easily.
